As well as its hard-working staff team, Leading Link relies hevily upon the support of its trustees, project workers, key delivery partners and opportunity providers and enthusiastic volunteers to meet its key aims and maximise impact levels.
We are always on the lookout for individuals and organisations to join our growing network of providers, and there are many ways to get involved:
There are currently no permanent full time/part time vacancies available to join the Leading Link team. If any positions become available, they will be advertised via the home page of our website and our social media channels.
As a charitable organisation, Leading Link are always looking for volunteers of all ages to help support the work that we carry out.
Volunteers will need to be flexible with time and job roles, be dedicated and enthuastic and willing to try new things. In return, they will receive valuable experience in several different areas including general administration, event management, facilitating workshops and working with young people, as well as in some cases gaining accredited qualifications including Emergency First Aid.
Leading Link is aided by a fantastic supportive Board of Trustees, who work tirelessly to help the organisation to be successful.
As we make significant strides in education and business, we are always looking for new experienced individuals to join our fantastic team and help steer future strategies. If you are passionate about helping to develop the pioneers of the future, have experience and contacts to contribute to our exciting plans and can commit to attending bi-monthly trustee meetings, then we want to hear from you.
We are also seeking a charity patron who shares our values to act as our public figurehead and help to promote the organisation.
Leading Link prides itself on being an all-inclusive charitable organisation - we can work with any school or organisation and any young person from any area. Our programmes are unique and designed to be flexible - they can be easily adapted to suit your needs.
Young people usually get involved with Leading Link through their school/college or one of our current projects - we do not currently have the capacity to accept speculative applications from young people to get involved with the charity, except for in extremely special cases.
Our Youth Ambassador volunteering programme is currently in one High School in Northumberland, we are assigned to four High Schools for the National Citizen Service (NCS) and our other projects are currently operating in eleven schools of Primary and Secondary level.
